This degree is for those who want to start a career as a certified public school teacher in grades 7-12. By completing courses in the liberal arts, education and an academic concentration of your choice, you will be able to transfer to a four-year program that leads to New York State teacher certification in Adolescent 教育.
You can pursue coursework that will prepare you for transfer and certification in the areas of 英语, 历史/社会研究, 数学, 生物学, 地球科学与物理.
The majority of students graduating from this program continue their education at a four-year college or university. The program follows the SUNY Teacher 教育 Transfer Template (TETT), which provides a smooth transfer to a SUNY four-year institution.
