另类牙科辅助计划

The 替代牙科辅助计划(ADAP) provides the required education and clinical experience to be eligible for licensure as a 注册ed Dental Assistant (RDA) in New York State. ADAP is a registered program with New York State 教育 Department. ADAP is designed specifically for the experienced unlicensed dental assistant presently employed as a dental assistant by a New York State licensed general dentist who will act as a preceptor for the duration of the ADAP program. 学生s applying for this program who are employed by a specialty practice must secure a second preceptor in a general practice.

Topic information is presented in an online distance learning format. 这种形式包括15个模块，在15周内呈现. This course will provide adequate preparation to take the New York Professional Dental Assisting (NYPDA), 辐射的健康 & 安全(RHS)和感染控制(ICE)联合检查. These exams are administered by the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) to become a New York State 注册ed Dental Assistant (RDA). 

Please note: 学生s who fail the online portion (第1部分) are no longer considered enrolled in the course and may not continue with their 1,000临床时数(第二部分). These students cannot perform duties per the New York State Office of Profession laws rules and regulations. It is the student's responsibility to immediately inform their preceptor(s).

学生s are required to complete 1000 hours of dental assisting work experience that will begin on the first day of class. Please note these clinical hours will continue after the last day of classes and must be completed within five years of the start of the program.

第3部分
Successfully pass the Dental Assistant National Board (DANB); 辐射的健康 and Safety (RHS), Infection Control (ICE); and New York Professional Dental Assisting (NYPDA) combination exam.

第4部分
Apply for licensure from the New York State 教育 Department after completing all of the above requirements.

HeartCode劳工统计局

This course is designed for health care professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and pre-hospital settings. In order to receive course completion card there are two required steps.

登陆www.onlineaha.org，选择HeartCode劳工统计局，并将其添加到您的购物车. 成本 is $36 and is paid online to the American Heart Association. This self-paced course is accessible anytime from any computer with internet access. 学生s can access all material included in the HeartCode劳工统计局 course for 24 months. 本课程可用于首次或续学完成.

Once you complete the online course you will be able to print a certificate of completion. 完成在线课程后, contact Community and Professional 教育 to register and pay for a skills session (must take place no more than 60 days following successful completion the online course).

This training must be completed within 90 days of your first employment.

•年满18岁

• Must not have been convicted of a serious criminal offense

• Must be a citizen or resident alien of the United States

• A minimum of a 10th grade reading skill level in 英语

• Passing of an examination and 100% attendance is required for successful completion of this course.

学生s must bring one of the following forms of identification to the training:

• A driver’s license, US passport, government ID or military ID

OR

• A social security card AND employer ID, student photo ID, or other similar photo ID.
